How much will a Y-cam cost?
Y-cam S Range retails under £150 from Amazon.co.uk. Every camera comes with everything you need - connecting cables, power cable, stand and installation instructions, and apart from the cost of your internet connection, there are no on-going charges.
How much bandwidth/internet will one of these use? I am on a fixed internet plan!
The cameras use very little bandwidth - watching high quality video (with audio) for around 10 minutes a day, everyday, will use just over 1GB of bandwidth over the month, which even the most stringent broadband deals can handle!
I'm not overly technical, so what can I do if I need help?
We offer free support to Y-cam customers, by email, by telephone, via our customer forum and knowledge base, and even by Twitter and Facebook, so there are always ways to get help if you should need it.
Does a computer need to be left on all the time to use a Y-cam?
No, Y-cam cameras are not webcams (that you use through your computer) but are infact mini computers themselves, that sit on your network and allow you to securely login to your camera from anywhere!
