Second generation firmware updates are only suitable for cameras with a current firmware version equal to version 1.98 up to but no more than 3.XX. The latest firmware is shown below, with preceding firmwares underneath that. We recommend Y-cam users to update their firmware as often as possible to unlock the full potential of their IP camera. Second generation cameras do not have the technology inside them to support later firmware and features (such as 4.X firmwares) and attempting to use firmwares unsupported by your camera may result in damage to your products operation.
