Last night the Y-cam team, filled with excitement and anticipation, headed down to The Lensbry in Teddington to attend the prestigious Richmond Business Awards, and we’re still smiling this morning as we glance over at our brand new award: Commended for Best Business for Innovation & Technology.

The awards were hosted by  Richmond Chamber of Commerce and after an inspiring (and very funny) speech by Dr. Vince Cable MP the awards were underway and we held our breath for the results.

This year’s Innovation & Technology Award, a tough category, was judged by The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and what these guys don’t know about innovation isn’t worth knowing. As one of the UK’s leading science and research facilities, they understand the importance of technology innovation so we were absolutely thrilled to emerge with their approval.

The entire night was absolutely fantastic, which was only made better by the sweet taste of success for us and the winners. To check out this year’s nominees and winners please visit Richmond Business Awards online.
