No-one puts WiFi Baby in the corner – Engadget Review
Posted on Friday, July 22nd, 2011
Off the success of the latest review of WiFi Baby 3G, and the ability to use a Y-cam camera as a baby monitor, we were thrilled to see that Alyssa Gamlin was not the only parent that was raving about our cameras. Our latest review comes from none other than the gadget God’s Engadget, where reporter Thomas Ricker decided to take a Knight S for a spin.

We all know that having a baby is a testing time for the bank account, however the market is full of well-wishing, gadget loving parents that will buy anything for their beautiful bundle of joy. Unfortunately these gadgets tend to be left lying around, unopened or unused, which was why we loved that Thomas had his sensible head on and asked the necessary question that when it comes to a baby monitor “What’s a rational, resourceful parent to do?”
And the answer seemed crystal clear to them, “use an IP-based surveillance camera as a baby monitor instead.”
The entire review is lengthy, yet jam packed full of helpful hints, inside knowledge, images and videos and well worth the read for the concerned parent looking for impartial advice. The camera received a resounding ‘thumbs up’ as Thomas loved the expansion on “features and flexibility” against other baby monitors, the camera’s night vision, app support and audio alerts, stating that “we’ll never go back to a traditional baby monitor again.”
Summing up the experience by announcing that our camera “manages to make traditional baby video monitors look like an overpriced toy.”
