T3 mag : Y-Cam Black SD ‘makes life easier for parents and their kids.’

T3 Magazine Logo

T3 have kindly included our fantastic Y-cam Black SD in this months edition of the magazine.

Featured in a “Tech for Tots” round-up of gadgets, it includes the Y-cam as an accessory that every nursery should contain.

The Y-cam streams cot-side footage that you can view on your phone or over the net.  Thirty infrared LEDs ensure clarity, even at night.

Using a Y-cam in your nursery is a great way to get peace of mind wherever you are. With its ability to stream to multiple devices, you can check in on your nursery from your laptop, iPhone, Blackberry or office computer.

The cameras invisible infrared allows you to see clearly even in pitch darkness, allowing you to check on your baby around the clock without disturbing them.

Hi, i have been trying to use the Black Y-cam as ababy monitor but it is not reliable. the picture freezes i.e. the browser looses connection with the cam after 10-30sec. It seems like the Cam is rebooting itself. the connectivity light goes from the orange/red flickering to a constant green led.

very frustrating so i have had to revert back to a traditional baby monitor

    Hi Benvir
We have a technical department to help deal with this kind of problem, perhaps you should of persevered! This sounds to me from the information you gave that you are connecting to the camera via network cable? If so, go in to the camera Settings, under Wireless Setup, change from Infrastructure to Adhoc. This should solve the problem immediately! If not, please email helpdesk [at] y-cam.com and our tech staff will solve your problem. Hope that helps.
