QNAP Announces VioStor NVR Series including Straight to Monitor Recording

QNAP, one of Y-cam’s leading compatible product partners, have launched their VioStor Pro NVR series. This new NVR is the world’s first Linux-based network video recorder which includes straight to monitor recording, offering users a PC-less surveillance solution.
Additionally, their VioStor Pro NVR range includes a quick configuration tool, the ability to monitor and playback video locally, plus a diverse recording mode which will allows features such as scheduled recording, alarm recording by multiple events, pre-alarm and post-alarm recordings.
This NVR offers other features such as up to 120-channel monitoring from multiple VioStor NVR servers, Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA), digital watermarking, SMS alerts, and an exclusive mobile surveillance application, V-Mobile, for wireless monitoring via iPod, iPhone, iPad and Windows PDA phones providing Y-cam’s business owners an all round surveillance solution.
