Y-cam MultiLive for iPhone updated

We’ve just release a big update to our MultiLive for iPhone app, and for some users its been causing a few issues.  Don’t panic – just delete the app and then re-install it from the App store – we’re sorry for the inconvenience, but we’re working really hard to make this app much better than it is, and this is the first step in that journey!

This update of the MultiLive app goes someway to solving some of the issues – it runs faster, looks better, and most importantly, the app is stable. We’ve done our testing and the image and audio quality seem to be good on 3G and Wi-Fi connections.

What’s new in this update?

- Improved Usability
- Fixed Audio Buffering
- Redesigned Camera Settings
- Retina support
- AAC audio support
- New Demo Camera

This has not been easy – and our developers look tired and slightly more grey in the hairline, but, we think we are getting there. We are planning on improving the functionality of the app for the next update and restructuring it – in the mean time, if there are comments or improvements, please leave a review on the App store or comment on this post. We are open to hearing all your views, comments and suggestions and look forward to hearing what you all have to say.

PLEASE ensure if the app is not working correctly that you have removed the app and reinstalled before leaving a comment :)

UPDATE: Are you having problems with your app? If yes, please check out our latest blog post where, thanks to our customer’s feedback, we have been able to identify key issues with the app and solutions to work around them. We have made creating a new update our highest priority, and are going to great lengths to insure that our next update will solve these issues.     Installed iPhone and iPad app from new . Does not work on either . Used internal and external I.p addresses . The previous version did work but had poor picture and sound but the pictures that were sent when alarm is triggered were fine. All that happens now is you get a black screen. I am not the only person having this problem looking at the reviews on I tunes. Please sort this out going away in a week and need to check my camaras or is there a way of reverting back 2 versions. The alarm part still works it still emails the pictures when triggered and I can log on to the camara and change the settings via safari.

    this is driving me crazy … tried all means and still cannot get my cam work….. regret updating… is there any way to stay put back to the old version… it works so well previously.. i need things work out.. my baby with the maid alone .. i need to monitor! i just dun want to the 2 cams at home become white elephant…. pls help Y-Cam soloutions!

    i have done so for so many times but still cannot solve my problems until today. Thought changing to another system but heart pain on the 2 cams i have spend less than 4 months which cost me nearly 1K. Please help to resolve.

    My iPhone was working perfectly with the Y-Cam until I updated the software.  I have deleted the app as suggested and reinstalled but the app is still unstable.

    1 It’s Slowww
    2 Audio is next to useless with spurious sounds, echos and delays.
    3 Touch keypad is unresponsive
    4 25% of the time it indicates incorrectly that the cam is off-line.

    I am using a wifi connection and my laptop works fine with the cam.

    I am so unhappy and angry with this update. I installed this and hoped to have à even netter app, but i cannot see any of my camera’s anymore.
    How can you people destroy such à good app? I hope you solve the problems real Soon!!

    Noway with this update I cannot connect to my y-cam. I tried to delete and install it again and again but nothing. Please fix this problem or rollback to previous version. I need to make it work or i have to change camera!

    just bought a ycam knight white camera. can´t get it to work on my ipod touch via the ycam app. Can i view my ycam camera from another network on my ipod touch?
