Jump aboard & see Y-cam in action at the London Boat Show

Launching today at London’s ExCel is the 2011 London International Boat Show, which brings together a host of boating celebrities, exciting product launches and over 500 exhibitors; all waiting to share their years of experience and knowledge with visitors.
Over the next 9 days, exhibitors will be sharing their new products, accessories, and services – boasting the latest clothing ranges, chandlery, electronics, engines and more – even boat and marina security is on show.
And pushing the new wave of security systems will be Y-cam compatible service partner, Jabbakam, alongside Y-cam Authorised Reseller, Active Surveillance, who will be demonstrating the Jabbakam online system using Y-cam IP cameras, specifically tailored to boat owners and lovers.
On the blog this week, we’ve already talked about how a Jabbakam system installed in Bradwell Marina led to savings of over £25,000 in surveillance and monitoring costs – by replacing traditional CCTV with IP camera technology. Active Surveillance fitted 12 cameras running on the Jabbakam network, allowing one of the largest boating sites in Essex to revolutionise their security system for themselves, and their members.
